Erika is a certified yoga teacher with over twenty years of dedicated practice and thousands of hours guiding students. Her classes are playful and balanced, incorporating music, poetry, and a genuine celebration of the human experience. She draws from a variety of styles, including Prana Vinyasa, Iyengar, and other modalities, blending these influences for a creative, well-rounded and accessible flow practice.
Anya is a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher rooted in Hatha yoga, blending elements of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and movement science. Her practice began in NYC and deepened in Rishikesh, India, where she completed her 200-hour training with Yogi Dinesh Chander Ji. Anya helps students build strong, pain-free, and resilient bodies by exploring the brain-body connection through safe, consistent practice and with a focus on well being.

Join us for an immersive yoga and cultural retreat on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. These 5-days are designed to help you reset, reconnect, and explore — both within and out in the world — in a truly exceptional setting.
Gitana del Mar Eco Resort is located on a quiet stretch of the Caribbean Sea, at the base of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the world’s highest coastal mountain range. This region is considered sacred by the Kogi people and is known for its biodiversity, cultural richness, and natural beauty. It's the ideal place to step away from daily routines and drop into a slower rhythm.
With the entire resort reserved just for us, you’ll practice yoga twice a day, eat nourishing local food, swim in the ocean, explore nearby national parks, and take part in a sacred Kogi ceremony.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
HOLD DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON.
( unless the retreat is canceled by the host, then the deposit will be paid back to you in full)
Hold deposits are transferable to another new attendee found and assigned by original attendee.

Cancellation requests submitted between January 10th and February 10 2026 25% of paid amount will be refunded ( minus the $500 deposit). Cancellation made between November 10th and January 10th 50% of paid amount will be refunded ( minus the $500 deposit). Cancellation made before November 10th, full amount will be refunded (minus the $500 deposit)
After February 10th: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions.
If the remaining amount is not yet paid by the February 10th 2026 I will understand that you no longer wish to join the retreat, your place will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited. To avoid this, just keep in touch! Email anyash.yoga@gmail.com and explain your situation so that I can assist you and find a solution together.
No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance and that it is your responsibility to read and understand the cancellation policies. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. I reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid will be refunded. Notification of cancellation for this reason will occur at least 1 month prior to retreat start date. I cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.

BUNGALOW SIERRA
The Bungalow Sierra is our largest and most stunning room. The carefully curated design is inspired by the mystical Sierra Nevada mountains with her snow capped peaks, and the sacred geometry found in the triangular patterns in nature as well as our local indigenous cultures. Featuring breathtaking beach and ocean views and at over 80 square meters (800 sqft), this bungalow boasts an open floor plan with 1 King Bed. and 2 single beds. This Cathedral Style structure is made with natural and native guadua (bamboo), hardwood and clay from the lower region of Sierra Nevada Mountains. The large and unique bathroom has 2 sinks and a shell inspired shower with hot water.

BUNGALOW SELVA
The Bungalow Selva is an all wood bungalow and is our most private and exclusive option. It has a one (1) queen bed and one (1) single bed as well as a private bathroom with open air shower and hot water. This is the closest option to the beach and the most private. The Bungalow Selva also has a private sitting garden in front of the bungalow

BUNGALOW NUKUBA
The Nukuba Bungalow is inspired by the serene and organic beauty of the seashell, specifically the shells sacred to the local Kogui indigenous population that inhabit the Sierra Nevada. This exquisite room features a tall, lofted roof, crafted from bamboo and thatch. Nukuba signifies shell in the Kogui language, and this structure embodies the same sense of security, tranquility, and contentment that a seashell offers to its cherished occupant.
Nukuba Bungalow boasts a private wooden deck front porch and is set apart and more private than the Bungalow Suites and Standards.
It has one (1) King bed and two (2) additional single beds. The max capacity Each Nukuba has a private, open-air bathroom.

BUNGALOW TREEHOUSE
This two- story Bungalow is tucked away in the jungle gardens of Gitana under our beloved Mango Trees and has gorgeous views all around. Designed with all wood and selected Bamboo details, this gorgeous space has a opened living room, balcony with views of our beachfront forest and the most incredible private bathroom with outdoor shower. Ideal for a couple the room has a King bed that can also turn into two twin beds
